We want you to achieve substantial and durable weight loss. Notice the two adjectives – substantial and durable. Any person and any program can result in some weight loss. For weight loss to be worthwhile you must be able to lose enough to make a difference, and you must be able to keep it off.


  • How much should you lose?

    A person with BMI of 45 has about 56 kg of excess weight and should expect to lose at least half of that (28kg) to feel that the effort has been worthwhile.

  • How long should the weight loss last?

    Ideally, for the rest of your life. Our aim is create a long term partnership with you. You should generally expect at least ten years of weight loss. This would be regarded as reasonably durable.
